Nel corso degli anni, l’ECCA ha messo a punto tutta una serie di metodi di prova, strumento utile per chi desidera testare metallo preverniciato. Nel 1995, è stato istituito un gruppo di lavoro del CEN TC139, supportato e sponsorizzato da ECCA. I risultati di questo lavoro riguardano la conversione dei metodi di prova ECCA in EN 13523, una norma europea costituita da oltre 25 sezioni.

EN 13523-5 | Coil Coated metals - Test Methods - Part 5: RESISTANCE TO RAPID DEFORMATION (impact test) This part of EN 13523 describes the procedure for determining the resistance to cracking and/or pick-off on rapide deformation of an organic coating on a metallic substrate in terms of energy which the specimen will withstand. |

EN13523-26 | Coil Coated metals – Test Methods – Part 26: RESISTANCE TO CONDENSATION OF WATER This method describes a procedure for evaluating the condensation resistance of coil coated materials. Changes of the coating film such as blistering, colour and gloss differences can be evaluated. |
